00.02 Kraken

After reading Umbrella Academy #6 I wanted to draw a character from the book. My first thought was to draw the Rumor, but I didn't want to dig around for enough costume references. So I settled on Kraken. I love his like gothy, kinda turn of the century villain look. He looks like a guy Kirk Douglas would have played in a movie.

I'm actually really pleased with how this turned out. Done completely in Photoshop with Adobe CS3 and my wacom tablet.
